Trinity IDFNow open, invest in a Lagos facing farm from ₦1,000,000
The numbers

The economics, in the open.

We believe you should see how the returns are built, not just the headline. Everything on this page is illustrative, real results depend on yields and prices, which we verify before every cycle, but the logic is transparent.

Important: All figures on this page are illustrative scenarios, not forecasts or guarantees. Actual returns depend on yields and market prices and may be lower, including a loss of capital. This is not investment advice. See our full Disclaimer and Risk Statement.

Two crops. Two return profiles. Your choice.

Yam and vegetables earn money in different ways. You can back one, the other, or split across both. The target range applies to both crops, what differs is the shape of the return, when the cash arrives and how it behaves.

Prefer balance? Split your investment across both, for example half in vegetable plots for steadier in year cash and half in yam plots for the higher value harvest. Many investors do exactly this.

What a ticket could earn, per cycle.

These figures use the blended target range and apply whether you choose yam, vegetables, or both. Per crop returns vary in timing and are confirmed each cycle.

What has to be true for these numbers to hold.

We would rather show our working. The target range assumes:

  • The farm achieves at least base case yields for yam and vegetables.
  • Yam is stored and sold into the higher price lean season, not dumped at harvest.
  • Vegetables cycle continuously across the year under irrigation.
  • Input costs and market prices stay within the ranges we have modelled and verified.

Before each cycle, we verify current Lagos prices and confirm the model. If the assumptions do not hold, the returns change, and we tell you.
